If you are using a hardware wallet that is not supported by MyCrypto, you can use MyEtherWallet instead by following these instructions: 

  1. Go to https://www.myetherwallet.com/

  2. Click on "Access My Wallet"

  3. Click "Hardware"

  4. Click the type of hardware wallet you have. If you do not have a bridge set up, you may need to download the software for this at this point.

  5. Give MyEtherWallet permission to access the wallet

  6. Click "Export"

  7. Authorize from hardware wallet (enter PIN)

  8. Select address, agree to Terms, and continue.

  9. Click on "Message" (far left, bottom)

  10. Enter message (from claims) in the textbox

  11. Click "Sign"

  12. Give permission to MEW

  13. Confirm signing on hardware wallet

  14. Click "Confirm signing"

  15. Click "Copy"

  16. You will now have a message that looks like this:
