Staking Dashboard: Operators Tab Print
Modified on: Thu, 27 Mar, 2025 at 11:34 AM
Start your staking journey or explore more information about staking on Polkadot's Home Page. Discover this new Staking Dashboard that makes staking much easier and check our extensive article list in the Overview article to help you get started.
This article explains how you can use the Operators tab of the Staking Dashboard to get more information about validator providers and select the ones you like.
ℹ️ INFO
The Operators page shows the validator providers in random order. Any providers shown in the following screenshots are also random and displaying them in this article is not an endorsement.
Validator providers can have their information displayed on the community page. It is a way for them to advertise their services and allow nominators to get to know them and potentially choose to nominate them.
ℹ️ GOOD TO KNOW
The community page doesn't show all validator providers, only those that have chosen to add their information to it.
All information shown is provided by the validator providers, and displayed as is.
When you visit the Operators page, you see a list of all validator providers in random order. This list provides a quick overview of each provider.
Here is the information you can see for each provider:
- Bio: You can read a brief description of the validator provider.
- x Validator(s): Shows the number of validators operated by the provider. Click this icon to view detailed information about each validator. The image below displays some of this information.
- Email: Opens your default email client to contact the validator directly.
- X (Twitter handle): Opens the validator's profile on X (formerly Twitter).
- Website: Opens the validator’s official website in a new tab.
Here is the information that becomes visible for each validator after clicking on x Validator(s):
- Account icon and address: If a validator has an on-chain identity, it will be shown instead of the address. Please note that the identity can be verified by a registrar or not.
- Performance graph: A small graph depicting the validator's 30-day performance appears below its name or address.
- Copy icon: Clicking on this icon copies the validator's public address to your clipboard.
- Heart icon: Click to add or remove the validator from your Favourites tab.
- Metrics icon: Click to view all validator metrics, such as Self Stake, Recent Performance, Reward History, and more.
- Top x%: If the validator ranks among the top x% based on its latest 30-day performance, it will be indicated in its profile.
- Commission: The validator's commission rate, which can range from 0% to 100%.
- Para-validator: Validator's actively validating parachain blocks are represented with an icon of three stacked blocks.
- Status in the current validator set: Shows whether the validator is active or waiting. For active validators, their total stake is also displayed.
