In this article, we'll show how to participate in a crowdloan using Nova Wallet. We'll use the Android version of the app, but the differences are minimal.

How to contribute to a Polkadot crowdloan in Nova Wallet

1. Open the Nova Wallet app and navigate to the Vote tab at the bottom of the screen, then switch to the Crowdloan tab:

2. Here, you can see your contributions and all active and finished crowdloans. Tap on one of the active crowdloans to contribute to it.

3. The minimum crowdloan contribution on Polkadot is 5 DOT. Enter the amount you want to contribute to this crowdloan:

Here, you can also see the leasing period. If your candidate wins an auction with your help, your contribution will be locked for the lease period and refunded after it ends. If your candidate won't be able to secure a parachain slot, your contribution will be refunded.

4. Review the transaction details and confirm to make your contribution.
