Nova Wallet is a Polkadot wallet developed and maintained by Novasama Technologies. It is an open-source mobile app available for iOS and Android, funded by the Polkadot Treasury. Nova Wallet is compatible with many DApps and wallets in the ecosystem.

In this article, we'll show how to connect your Ledger account to Nova Wallet. We'll use the Android version of the app, but the differences are minimal.
‼️ IMPORTANT
Only Ledger Nano X is supported in Nova Wallet. Both your Ledger device and your smartphone with Nova Wallet installed need to support Bluetooth.How to connect a Ledger account to Nova Wallet
1. Open the app. If you don't have any accounts yet, choose "Already have a wallet."
If you have an account already, go to "Settings" > "Wallets" and tap "Add wallet":
2. Tap on "Hardware wallet"
3. Choose "Ledger Nano X (Generic app)" from the list.

4. Unlock your Ledger Nano X and open the Polkadot app. In Nova Wallet, tap "Continue":
5. If prompted, allow Nova to access your location and nearby devices, enable Bluetooth, and select your Ledger device from the list of nearby devices.
6. Nova will display the addresses of your Ledger account on several networks. Tap "Continue."
7. Review and approve the account import on your Ledger Nano X, then enter a nickname for your Polkadot app account. This nickname is only used locally for your convenience and doesn't appear on-chain.
8. Tap "Continue," and your Ledger account is now connected to Nova Wallet! You can operate from the Polkadot app on any Substrate network! Check this article to see what you can do with it in the app.
