PolkaGate: How to Receive Funds Print

In this article, we'll show how to receive DOT or another supported token to your account in PolkaGate.
How to receive funds to your PolkaGate account
1. Click on the PolkaGate icon next to your URL bar. If you've set a login password, you'll need to enter it and unlock the wallet first:
2. Click on your account in the extension. Make sure you have the right network selected:
‼️ IMPORTANT
Although the account is the same, the format of its public address might be different for each network. For example, the Polkadot format starts with "1", the Kusama format starts with a capital letter, and the generic Substrate format starts with "5".
Make sure you select the right network when retrieving the public address of your account.

3. Above the chain and token, you can see your account address for the chosen network. Click on the Copy icon to copy the address to your clipboard:
Or click the QR icon to see the QR code for your account address:
4. Pass the copied address or the QR code to the sender of the funds. If you're sending funds to yourself, you can paste the copied address or scan the QR code you're seeing.
