This article explains how to retrieve the address of any account managed by the Talisman Wallet. By setting this address as the recipient for any transaction, users can seamlessly receive funds across multiple networks.

ℹ️ GOOD TO KNOW

If you have any questions about Talisman or run into any issues and require further assistance, feel free to ask our AI chatbot or contact us.

Alternatively, you can join Talisman's Discord server and receive specialized assistance from the team that developed the wallet. This communication channel is also an important feedback loop for the Talisman team to improve the wallet, and they always appreciate hearing from users.

Follow the steps below to get the address of any of your accounts and receive funds:

1. Open Talisman Wallet and click on the "Receive" button just below the value of your portfolio.

2. Identify the specific asset you intend to receive and, most importantly, note the associated network used for its reception.

⚠️ ATTENTION

Although the account is the same, the format of its public address might be different for each network. For example, the Polkadot format starts with "1", the Kusama format starts with a capital letter, and the generic Substrate format starts with "5".

Make sure you select the right network when retrieving the public address of your account.

3. Once you've chosen the asset and network, proceed to select the specific account for which you require the public address.

4. And that's it! The public address for your selected network will be displayed as a QR code that you can scan from your phone. Additionally, you can easily copy it to your clipboard by clicking the "Copy Address" button.
